I bought for 3 reasons. 1. The hole to hole dimensions. I was replacing an old knocker and did not want to fill & redrill. 4” center to center is not easy to find. 2. The finish 3. The brand. I know Baldwin is a quality product so felt confident the finish would be quality to match my Schlage Satin Nickel handle set purchased from Lowe’s. It does not have the gloss finish of the Schlage but at a distance it is not too noticeable. Lowe’s in store knocker selection was abysmal, only 1 with a scratchy silver finish.
