Some reviewers have complained about rust, but I see no sign of any chipping or finish inconsistency on the metal so fingers crossed no rust will form any time soon or ever (when the rack is empty, I dab the wet metal a little with a towel just in case). There is a plastic tube fitted on each leg to protect the sink surface. One minor issue is I think gunk will build up inside the tubes over time, but they can be removed and cleaned periodically. I’m using this as an everyday makeup caddy to grab for when I want to do simple, daily on the go makeup. The inner organizer part is great for that.
