Step2 MailMaster Plus Post Mounted Mailbox

Purchased two of these for two different houses. Look great and maintenance free.

Wrongly Advertised Model The mailbox I received doesn't match the 'white background/stock photo.' Even the box the product came in doesn't match what is actually being purchased (the box itself shows the same image as the white background/stock photo). However, the mailbox you will receive is the one shown in the stock photo with a person standing next to it. See all comparison photos. This detail matters to me because the mailbox has a weirdly placed bump out that severely limits the amount of space to place custom numbers and a street name. As compared to my old Step2 mailbox which gave you ample space for numbering and has NO exposed hardware to rust away. I was hoping the 'white background/stock photo' was the model I was getting. I'm not sure returns/exchanges are even allowed in this COVID world, so I intend on keeping it unless I can switch it out for the model I had thought I was getting, but it's a shame that I was mislead. I can't find the older model anywhere and had thought this was the place to get it based on the advertised photos, I was wrong- so you need to update your out of date images. I'll go with my initial idea and DIY/spruce up my OLD ugly green mailbox and use this one for the interim.

Looks good. Dug hole, cut 4x4, added concrete and mounted mailbox in under a hour.

That was fine. The numbers fell off after a year.

Perfect replacement for out old sun damaged one.
