PonyCycle® is the original ride-on horse toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor.
Nothing switches on. The rider sits on the padded saddle, holds the handle, bounces, and pushes through the foot pedals underneath — the saddle and the pedals work together, a two-phase mechanism turns the two motions into forward travel, and the one-way wheels keep the pony tracking straight instead of sliding backwards. The ride ends when they climb off, not when something runs out.
Children pick this up faster than anyone expects. Within a couple of minutes they have the rhythm and they are off — down the hallway, around the kitchen island, and the brake squeezed at the doorway because they worked out on their own that they should. For the rest of the afternoon, the loudest thing in the house is a very happy child on a pony.
Three sizes are available, so the pony can be matched to the rider rather than grown into.
