Care & Longevity. While galvanized iron is naturally weather-resistant, it is not 100% rust-proof over long periods of exposure. Maintenance Tip: To keep your planters looking brand new and provide an extra shield against the elements, we recommend an annual application of a thin coat of clear spray. This helps repel moisture and preserves the finish for years to come.
