Grant bluebirds in your yard a safe and comfortable shelter by placing this Coveside Slant-Front Bluebird Box in it. This standout pine unit sports a unique, tapered design that requires less nesting material, to provide an easier method for bluebirds to construct their nests. An extended, slanting roof lends protection from above for your feathered friends, and aids in redirecting falling rain away from the box. Ventilation holes at the top of each side panel as well as a thin slot at the top of the front panel encourage proper air flow for the shelter, and a 2.25" x 1.375" entryway allows bluebirds to easily access the nest. The unit's rough hewn interior enables fledglings to gain an optimal grip when they are ready to climb out of the box, and the front panel may be opened easily for seasonal cleanouts and regular nest checks. Through repeated exposure to outdoor elements, this unit's natural pine will weather to a gray complexion for a new element of beauty and rustic charm, and you may affix this abode to a tree or mount it on a post for a versatile display.
