I have this rain barrel in both the 80 gallon (1) and the 50 gallon (2) size, and I really like the simple aesthetic. The dark gray color matches my siding almost perfectly, helping these hide visually, since two are in the front of my house. The 80 gallon has better water pressure, nice if you’re filling watering cans and don’t want each fill to take forever. But the plastic spigot that came with it is cheap and hard to maneuver (but I keep forgetting to replace it when the barrel is empty). The 50 gallon ones come with two metal spigots each, which are far nicer to turn off and on. But the water doesn’t come out as fast, for whatever reason. We have all of them up on blocks to aid with water pressure and fitting a bucket underneath. Overall, great product, and they’ve kept my garden alive through multiple summer drought periods!. I take care of entryway planters at our little church. The ones I have had there for six years had come apart and were leaking at the bottom. While I have not yet brought this to Church or put potting mix in or planted it yet still chilly at night in Minnesota, looking at the construction of this one I am very highly satisfied. Instructions were just ok. It requires over 40 little screws and bolts in some hard-to-reach places. Tough on fingers and fingernails. Calls for a wrench to tighten but no room to get a wrench in. Has small ventilation holes on sides - was wishing there were some on the top-facing surfaces to let sunlight in. it tumbles easily and is easy to fill. All said, I'm happy with it!. Anne. I like that I didnt have to screw but 2 bolts. The frame snaps together and the tumbler only needs the center partition placed and then the door slides on. 10 minutes! Its nice and sturdy, and easy to tumble. The compost will be easy to remove by sliding the door open and rotating it downward. My compost is only a week into the making and its 80 degrees.
