What happens after I buy a Protection Plan?
You'll receive an email from Allstate Protection Plans with your purchase confirmation and Terms & Conditions. No registration is required.
How will my issue be resolved?
Once your claim is approved, Allstate will determine the best resolution — this could include a repair, stain removal kit, replacement product, or reimbursement (capped at the original purchase price of the item, exclusive of taxes and fees). All parts, labor, and shipping are fully covered by your plan.
When does my coverage begin and how long does it last?
Coverage for your protection plan begins on the date of purchase and ends when your term length expires (typically 1–10 years), or when the plan's benefits have been fulfilled. Some benefits start on day one, while other benefits begin once the manufacturer's warranty ends.
How does my plan work with the manufacturer’s warranty?
Most items include a manufacturer’s warranty (typically 90 days to 1 year) that covers defects in materials or workmanship. If an issue is covered under that warranty, or if Allstate confirms it is, please contact Wayfair for help.
Protection plans provide extra peace of mind, covering your furniture beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. If an issue isn’t covered by the manufacturer but is included in your Allstate Protection Plan, your plan will take care of it
What are some additional program benefits?
No Lemon Policy: If your product has two service repairs completed and a third repair is needed for the same problem within any 12-month period, we'll replace it with a comparable product or reimburse you (up to the original purchase price, exclusive of taxes and fees).
Power Surge Protection: Your product is protected from operational failure resulting from a power surge while properly connected to a surge protector. You may be asked to provide your surge protector for examination.
Food spoilage up to $300: This benefit is applicable to refrigerators and the freezer component of refrigerators; not applicable to standalone freezers, mini refrigerators, wine refrigerators, beverage refrigerators. You may be required to document food loss when you file a claim.
Missed Laundry up to $50: If your washer or dryer can't be repaired within 14 days of initial on-site service visit, Allstate will reimburse you up to $50 for laundry services.
What doesn’t the Allstate Protection Plan cover?
Some common exclusions include: Damage caused by shipping or delivery, natural disasters, or other weather-related events, damage caused by accumulation, neglect, or abuse, intentional damage, loss, or theft, and pet damage due to bites, and scratches.

Can I add a Protection Plan after purchasing my item?
Yes. You can add a Protection Plan within 90 days of your original product purchase by going to the My Orders section of your My Account and selecting Add Allstate Protection Plan, or by clicking the Add To An Existing Order button above. Please note that plans do not cover pre-existing issues.
Can I cancel my plan or return my item?
Yes. You can cancel your plan within 30 days of purchase through My Account for a full refund. If you return your product, your plan will be automatically canceled once the item is scanned by the return delivery agent.
