Clean, crisp and modern, this drum lamp shade comes in a white faux silk fabric

Let me start off by saying that lamp shades are perhaps one of the hardest things to shop for, especially when you cannot physically try different shades on the lamp you need them for. This lamp shade was great – well made, looked really good, no surprises or problems. I reallllllly wanted to like it. It just, as it so, so often goes in this particular avenue of shopping, did not fit my lamp. But I wanted to leave this review because it was a great lamp shade. I have learned that 9 out of 10 times, start up from the size you think you need... I am almost always let down when I buy the size I *think* was what I needed.. Meagan. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 28 2026

A White fabric laminated to styrene hardback drum.

Shades came as described and at first I was a bit surprised at how stark WHITE they were. Getting used to it now and hoping a little dust will lessen the brightness ;) I was a little disappointed by the seams showing as well but for about $50/shade I guess you cannot expect it to be seamLESS.
