Silver Transitional Traditional Lighting Components

We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab. In hanging a new high dollar chandelier (wives purchase) the existing electrical box was not aligning to her satisfaction with the table below. So, move box? No! Too much work for 70 year old, now 77. Medallion would cover hole and allow me to adjust position without moving box. And it looked great with the chandelier! John I Smith. Teresa B. Wed Nov 27 2019

I like these very much. Because the lamps are kind of "busy", I didn't want a big, busy finial. These were just right, they secure the shade, and don't distract from the pretty lamp and shade. They arrived just as shown on the Wayfair site.. Carol. FL. Fri Dec 01 2023

This is a beautiful piece!!!! It is made of some sort of lightweight plastic material, but looks like plaster. I used it on a major wall, surrounded in square by chair rail moulding. 24" square medallion, it's 3/4" thick. The inner opening for a light fixture base is 8-3/8". This photo shows the medallion just after installation and painting. Before painting I added texture with paintable caulk and let it dry overnight. I wanted it to look like it's been there all along. I attached the medallion to the ceiling using strong glue and a couple of screws, then caulked all the seams. Electricians will do a complete re-wire so the danglers you see are not hot. I may add another photo here when all is complete.. Dimi. Northfield, MN. Sun Nov 24 2024
