I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper. As you see from the picture the lamp is not what was ordered. I received two mirrored lamps instead of the red ones and the ones received did not have the intended charging ports. A simple rectangular frame is the lamp body, and on top another rectangular shade, they combined together and formed a perfect balance. The base is made of durable metal, painted with dark wood pattern, and the shade uses fine linen fabric. And the functional, it has an E26 light socket, needs a maximum 60 watts light bulb (sold seperately), and also on the bottom, it has an USB charger. These lamps are attractive. They arrived quickly were well-packaged. The metal parts have a nice finish. The color of the glass base is a bluegray with a very slight green undertone. The color variation (“gradient”) is less than is shown in the product photos. The shades are a linen-look, off-white. The USB port is next to the cord outlet worked fine in an overnight test. The switch is a rotary type. The shades were easy to assemble, but the metal rings are not covered like they would be in a pre-assembled shade. These were pretty easy to put together. There was a cord at the top that was hard to get out of the way so you could screw in one of the parts to the base.
