I ordered these lamps to replace the ones that were on our bedside tables and I love them! What I liked about these lamps was that they are smaller in bulk and would give us more space back for all the things we need to plug in at night. I also liked that they operate by touch to turn on/off. It's so simple now. The shade is white, so when the light is on, it brightens the room more. The lamps came with light bulbs saving an extra order or a trip to the store to buy them. That was a plus to me. At first I was concerned that the base was small and the lamp might tip over because it could be top heavy, but this isn't the case at all. I'm a big fan of the form and style of this set of lamps, but feel it's necessary to call out that one of the lamps arrived damaged and the light didn't work. However, the USB ports on the lamp worked fine, so I'm not sure what the issue may have been. Despite this, Wayfair seamlessly allowed me to request replacement parts (another lamp base) which shipped quickly and arrived in working order. I didn't realize the lamps came with a bonus clock (despite it being called out fairly explicitly in the listing), but I appreciated it, even if it had no bearing on my ultimate decision to purchase the lamps. Their quality is higher than the product listing photos might lead you to believe, and they fit perfectly on my nightstand. I needed a lamp with a slimmer profile due to my blackout curtains, which extend a few inches off the wall and would otherwise brush against a larger lamp, or one with a rounded shade.
