Wow the quality is so nice on these. They are made of metal and glass, unlike most solar options. They are beautiful and provide extra light in my driveway at night. With the rise of electricity cost, I’m opting for solar options whenever possible. The base is a little too large to fit on a standard fence post sadly, but buying longer screws allowed me to still install them. I’d get these again, highly recommend.. Lincey. Auburn, ME. The gauge of the steel is stronger than my old post. Of 25 years. I think the bottom joke should be lower and have a grommet for wire protection it is a challenge to get wiring for outlet and photo sensor and power feed and fixture. Luckily a 3 inch pipe makes it. The cross bar is way too loose in pole holes and is plastic, used to be a good fit metal. Try and get silicone neatly around it to hold in place. Needs tighter fitting plastic grommets sized to the cross pipe. It makes the whole item look cheap overall it works.. Charles. Shelton Ct. Mon Jun 23 2025
