The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that some of the edges are a bit rough and will need a little sanding before installation. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the purchase.. 24" square medallion, it's 3/4" thick. The inner opening for a light fixture base is 8-3/8". This photo shows the medallion just after installation and painting. Before painting I added texture with paintable caulk and let it dry overnight. I wanted it to look like it's been there all along. I attached the medallion to the ceiling using strong glue and a couple of screws, then caulked all the seams. Electricians will do a complete re-wire so the danglers you see are not hot. I may add another photo here when all is complete.. Dimi. Northfield, MN. Sat Nov 23 2024

This is not where it’s going to go, which is as a ceiling medallion for a fan above my bed… but it is SO GORGEOUS, I’ve actually thought of putting a mirror in the middle and hanging it on a wall…Hmmm, maybe I’ll get another like it and do that, on my wall to match my ceiling medallion I’m actually in the process of getting another slightly different one, a bit larger with the circle around it, but trying to decide if I should use this color or a different one, for another ceiling fan in our living room room‼️❣️♥️. This worked out really well. I had a hole in the ceiling I needed to cover, so I ordered the 30” version. Item came as described. A word of advice: paint it before you mount it. This piece looks pretty modern, which is a rarity in the ceiling medallion department! Love this!. Kory. Costa Mesa, CA. Mon Feb 03 2020

The Blanco grand ceiling medallion 98.5" diameter ships prefinished in a tasteful Blanco finish. A finish offering a subtle contrast of neutral white and beige, featuring a recessed center panel with slightly raised floral pattern detail. A beautiful and neutral creation that allows for a wider variety of installations. This completely finished architectural ceiling medallion is the largest round medallion offered and creates an instant focal attraction with its 3-dimensional detail. Also, a crowning elegance to a chandelier installation for a ballroom, cathedral, restaurant, or large home, which is often a good time to install your selected medallion. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is hand cast in a lightweight polystyrene that will never shrink, split or crack. Prior to masterpiece moldings' creation of this collection by AFD home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install. A 1.5" center hole is provided for the installation of chandeliers and fans. The overall measurements are 98.50 x 98.50 x 3.00. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.
