I love this fan. My (electrician) installed it with ease. Loving that I can change the lighting from cool to bright. Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. Had to drill them and then use nuts to secure the fan to the bracket.. Jim. Moreno Valley, CA. Tue Jun 02 2026

Smaller than I thought it would be, but it puts out a lot of air, and because it’s a DC fan, it’s whisper quiet. It’s getting 4 instead of a 5 because it’s lacking a screw hole cover, which detracts a little from the astherics.. David. Atlanta, GA. Sun Aug 02 2026

This smart ceiling fan is designed to enhance your smart home experience, allowing you to control it from anywhere in your home using a remote control or app. This modern smart fan not only supports voice control but also works seamlessly with Alexa and Google Assistant devices.

Good fan, silent, good speeds. Only problem is the light. It's huge, and on an 8 foot ceiling, it's hard to have it on fully (even 15% is hard on the eyes). Wish there was a better cover/diffuser on the light, but works great with Alexa if you know how to set up routines (aka. "Alexa, Set Fan 3" - asking for speed up or slow down does not work.). Kaila. I bought the kit of 2 fans. Installed both this past weekend. The first one was difficult. The airfoils were not easy to screw on and the directions are less than helpful. The power adapter that slides into the top cover of the fan was a REALLY tight fit and was really tough to get in with the wires from the ceiling blocking the way. The second one was a bit easier to assemble/install, but the adapter part was still difficult to manage. The fan itself has been super quiet and it really moves the air. We are super pleased with that portion. The things I'm not so thrilled on are the light kit and the fact that every time you change anything (light color/brightness, fan speed, turning anything off or on) it beeps decently loudly to alert you. I wish I could disconnect the speaker. On the light kit, it is very powerful, but it's more like a spotlight than ambient light. It works great for one room that has a high ceiling, but for my other room it just looks too dramatic. It felt a bit cheap as I was installing it, mostly all plastic. Maybe it is to keep it light and quiet, in which case it does the job....but the light kit especially isn't very attractive. It definitely looks like plastic instead of the glass I was hoping for. There is also no glass/plastic over the actual LED (the ring on the bottom), so you can't diffuse the light anymore. PROS: Really powerful fan. Very bright light. Also can adjust yellow and white colors. A lot of settings can be adjusted from the Carro Home app or the remote provided. Cons: Looks a bit cheap Light kit isn't all that attractive and is a spotlight The smart app is a bit clunky The beep when you adjust settings is a bit annoying Takeaway, I needed a fan that moved air. it's really hot here and now that we're home all day we need it more than an attractive fan that doesn't work as well. I would buy it again because it serves my purposes well. If you want it for aesthetics, you might want to look somewhere else. . Sara. Phoenix, AZ. Mon Jun 01 2020

Perfect fan, bought 2 so i could install 1 in each of my girl's rooms. They love them. Boxed nicely and unpacked easily. Didn't take long to put them together and have them up on the ceiling. Remote is very intuitive and the wall mount "holster" is perfect for keeping track of its location.. John. Ypsilanti, MI. Tue Jul 28 2026
