I was undecided, between this lamp with two outlets, or the models with usb andor outlet. In the end i decided to go with this model. I felt the outlets we all have in our homes had more life than the usb outlets which are limited to their current designed output. The lamps are extremely durable with commercial style toggle switches. The shades are held on with all metal hardware and offer a very high end look. I'm a big fan of the form and style of this set of lamps, but feel it's necessary to call out that one of the lamps arrived damaged and the light didn't work. However, the USB ports on the lamp worked fine, so I'm not sure what the issue may have been. Despite this, Wayfair seamlessly allowed me to request replacement parts (another lamp base) which shipped quickly and arrived in working order. I didn't realize the lamps came with a bonus clock (despite it being called out fairly explicitly in the listing), but I appreciated it, even if it had no bearing on my ultimate decision to purchase the lamps. Their quality is higher than the product listing photos might lead you to believe, and they fit perfectly on my nightstand. I needed a lamp with a slimmer profile due to my blackout curtains, which extend a few inches off the wall and would otherwise brush against a larger lamp, or one with a rounded shade.
