The Expo torchiere can illuminate any room with even up lighting. A beautiful frosted glass shade diffuses bright ambient light. An Adesso patented 300-watt double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. The brushed steel finish is complemented with chrome accents on a chunky pole that gives the lamp a bold presence in a room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable LED bulbs (Do not use: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur. Bulbs are not included.

Great quality lamp with large shade and heavy base. I love the hanging chains for turning the lamp on. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how tall the finial top piece is. Upgrade your living room with this simple, sleek, unique ultra modern medium arch floor lamp from Artiva USA. The 80-degrees arch offer a telescope reach.

Pretty nice! Nothing fancy, but it's smart. More of a brushed aluminum than a shiny chrome. The stand, and the base are nice and heavy. The stand has three, threaded joints which are sturdy and straight. The white of the shade is a wee bit softer than in the photo, and the angle is adjustable. The actual switch / bulb fixture is very cheap and because it's visible from up close (the clearance from floor to shade is forty-eight inches), this slightly cheapens the otherwise full-price appearance. The sixty-four inches mentioned is the height of the stand at the highest point, just before it bends. Easy to assemble. LOTS of cardboard and Styrofoam, but that's better than damage. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.. Charles. New York, NY. Thu Mar 16 2017

Shine a light on the reading nook or round out a living room seating arrangement with this floor lamp, a bold pick for any ensemble. A strong linear element contrasts with a round shade to create the eye-catching style of the Floor and Table Task lighting collection. The fashionable design will complement your modern and minimalist décors. A metal base and rod in a polished chrome finish incorporate an intersecting arm that holds the classic drum-style shade in white linen fabric. The tabletop configuration includes electrical USB plugs in the base. The stylish details add up to a practical design that will enhance your living room, bedroom, or office space.

This is a great lamp! I have a narrow nook that holds a custom sleeper sofa. I wanted to put this lamp to the side of the sofa, and I was planning to slide the base of the lamp under the side of the sofa - which is why I was glad that the lamp was inserted into the base off center. (I only had a few inches to work with.) Unfortunately, when the lamp arrived, I realized too late that the sofa had no space for sliding anything under it - it went all the way to the ground. So, I placed it behind the sofa, which wasn't as ideal. Eventually, I moved the lamp to another cozy spot and I love it. It turns off and on with a button at the very top of the 5'2" pole. So, this wouldn't be a great lamp for kids/very short adults to easily turn on/off.. Shams. San Francisco, CA. Tue Jan 04 2022

It also works well in a home office or study, providing task lighting next to a desk, or in a minimalist bedroom seeking a sleek and unobtrusive bedside reading lamp.

I needed two of these. They both look just like the picture. One was more perfect than the other but the flaw won't show. (The protective backing is not glued on straight.) It is on the bottom of the base and slides under the sofa so it won't be seen. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
