I absolutely love these lamps! To be honest, I spent way too much time worrying about buying new lamps but I wanted something to replace a bedside nightlight. My previous light I had used for years and could easily be dimmed so I could read when my husband was asleep and not bother him. With my new lights, I wanted something similar but I really wanted the option for a built in nightlight as well as a lamp and then I saw the cell phone charger plugin! These were perfect! We turn on both the bottom light part and the top lamps almost every evening simply because it makes our bedroom look so cozy and inviting. These lamps are nice! It’s the first time ever that I am pleased with a lamp shade which I had to assemble at home. Shades were packed so that they had no creases and the linen weave fabric is nice and heavy. So when I attached the Velcro, the rings clipped in snugly and you can’t tell it isn’t a pre-assembled shade. The “night light” feature in the base of the is fairly bright, but not as bright as the 60W bulb. I like that I can charge my cell phone in the lamp base, but the night light flickers when I plug in my phone I’ve decided it doesn’t bother me because I can easily work around that issue.
