A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. I received this aluminum ceiling fan in a timely manner. It is white just like I ordered. Not very heavy and comes with remote control for the fan and the lights. From what I have been reading the fan can operate with lights on or off. I love this feature because it is similar to the one in the primary bedroom. The fan can run without the lights being on if that is the preference. Some of the fan blades can be removed and still run. I need an electrician to come and install for me.
