These sat off the wall more than I expected. And my electrician had an issue with getting them to sit flush on the wall. They kept leaning forward slightly. This very well could just have been my electrician or because it was replacing another light that may not have been a great setup for this light. I ended up taking them down and using another light. Looks incredible in my home. It's no simple thing to find a modern piece thats classic enough to use in an old Victorian home, but this one really fit the bill, I'm really pleased with the look. That said, wiring aside, this thing took me longer than I care to admit to just affix the alabaster plate to the metal arm of the fixture. There's just so little available to thread into the bolt while trying to keep everything aligned. For as simple as the direction was, it was embarrassingly difficult to finesse in. But whatever, it was worth it.. Ando. Chicago. Tue Jun 23 2026
