The Solar Eclipse is an awe-inspiring natural phenomenon where millions of people travel to the “path of totality” to witness this spectacle. The Eclipse collection by VONN is inspired by this rare occurrence, where the actual projection of the light is adjusted by the observer. The rotation and swivel of the shades create an intangible allure while capturing timeless elegance and beauty.

Nice finish. The operable wings seem like a good idea but once seeing it up close, seems more bulky of a light. Dima. CA. Sat Feb 26 2022

Wall lamp in steel and aluminum. Movement is the source of inspiration for all of Bernard Schottlander's work: Artist, engineer-handyman, he has perfected a clever pivot-counterweight system, using flexible and resistant metal rods. His lights, inspired by the work of Alexandre Calder and playing on the tension between balance and imbalance, like mobiles, seem to defy the laws of gravity. The poetry of the object invites one to dream, elegance on a thread.

The starting point of Aaron’s was a gesture. A movement. Simon wanted to create as fluid motion as possible, which immediately lead him to the sphere. A sphere has so many fantastic attributes. With a sphere as a joint, they are no limited directions, it has no left or right, no top or bottom. So with the sphere as the defining element of this piece, everything else “revolved“ around it. The geometry, the balance, the friction. It all comes down to the sphere, visually pointing at it. An end result is an object that seems to be moved by the wind. It revolves effortlessly around its centerpiece, like planets orbiting around each other. With Aaron’s inspired by Aaron’s rod, the magician Simon Schmitz makes his lamp levitate.

The sconces are just beautiful and add the perfect touch of elegance I was looking for in my room! They come with two options of either hardwiring or plug-in and I chose to plug them in because I can hide the wires behind my curtains. They have swingable arms to give you multiple positions and that gave me flexibility in positioning them evenly. The shades are adorable and well made, they came put together and not flat for assembly like many shades are these days. They take a standard size bulb too which was very convenient.
