I just adore this fan/light. I used it in a client's dressing room in a very old house with windows that do not open and wanted to update the light as well as provide some air circulation. Now, this is not usual ceiling fan strength, but it provides enough air (particularly if you are underneath it, which in this case works perfectly as there are two chairs right under it) without it looking like a ceiling fan. The remote works perfectly and installation was very easy. It throws a very pretty pattern with the light on as well. Highly recommend! UPDATE: The lights on this fan stopped functioning within 6 months. The fan worked fine, but the lights flickered or wouldn't come on at all. I've not had any success getting a replacement receiver/control box and Wayfair will not give me a refund because it's outside of the 1 year warranty. I do not recommend this light!!. Tammy. We bought this lightfan to replace a ceiling fan in our family room. It is larger than I expected but looks good and goes with the other iron fixtures in the room. My son and husband didn’t have any issues installing it, it has some new easy connections. The fan, although small puts out quite a bit of air. There are eight blades and four lights. The lights have different settings for different moods, this was a surprise. Overall we are quite pleased with this light and would buy it again. It is built sturdy and looks nice.. Joan. US.
