This timer is much better than the original one I had installed. It's easier to set and allows 2 (on and off) options so you can set it for early morning and night. I love the early morning setting when you need to leave for an early airline flight. Additionally, it's excellent for keeping accurate time and it's also easy to install, just plug it in.. Mary. Pool Rated Safety UL listed and fully compliant with NEC 680.23, this transformer is built specifically for underwater lighting in pools and spas. It includes grounded metal shielding and isolated high and low voltage compartments to deliver a higher level of protection than standard landscape transformers. Automatic Circuit Protection Equipped with a built in circuit breaker, the unit automatically shuts off under overload or short conditions to help prevent shock and protect equipment. That extra layer of protection is ideal for wet areas like swimming pools, spas, and water features. Adjustable Low Voltage Output The transformer converts 120V AC into safe 12V/13V/14V outputs. The multi tap design lets you compensate for voltage drop so underwater LED lights stay bright and consistent, even on long wire runs in large pool or landscape systems. Durable Weather Resistant Housing Housed in a fully enclosed iron case, this transformer resists water, dust, and outdoor exposure for reliable performance both indoors and out. It is backed by a 12-month warranty for added peace of mind. Fast Clean Installation Wiring is flexible with 8 knockouts and 2 rubber-grommeted knockouts, plus separate high and low voltage compartments. Rear support points and the included mounting brackets make it easy to mount the unit off the wall for better airflow and a neat installation. Specifications Wattage: 300W Input voltage: AC 120V Output voltage: AC 12V/13V/14V Waterproof rating: Wet location Working temp: 5°F-104°F Material: Iron Maximum Load: 80%

Came very nicely packed and the build quality is very good. I did not want a plastic outer body because had an old one break apart, and this is quite sturdy. Setting it up was a breeze and the instructions come in quite handy. Until now its quite weather durable and with the strong shell I don’t think it will have issues. Overall a good purchase !. Sg.
