The Cherub Sky Round Chandelier Ceiling Medallion 36 Diameter is a favorite sized fully assembled and intricately finished Ceiling Medallion. This Timeless Creation offers an Old-World Elegance. This finished Architectural Ceiling Medallion creates instant 3-dimensional detail to an otherwise boring plain ceiling. Also, a crowning Elegance to a Chandelier Installation, which is often a good time to install your selected Medallion. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is Hand Cast in a lightweight Polystyrene that will never shrink, split, or crack. Prior to Masterpiece Moldings' creation of this Collection by AFD Home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.

These are easily sprayed painted by the way. Plus… doesn’t every hard-working light fixture deserve a medallion Yes!. April. Creswell, OR. Mon Aug 24 2026

I purchased this several years ago to use when I had my ceiling fan replaced. When taking down the older fan, it had a wider base and the replacement left a less then pleasing cover. Went looking for something that was lightweight and wouldn't require taking down the newly installed ceiling fan. This medallion fit the bill! Easy to install and fits together nicely. 24" square medallion, it's 3/4" thick. The inner opening for a light fixture base is 8-3/8". This photo shows the medallion just after installation and painting. Before painting I added texture with paintable caulk and let it dry overnight. I wanted it to look like it's been there all along. I attached the medallion to the ceiling using strong glue and a couple of screws, then caulked all the seams. Electricians will do a complete re-wire so the danglers you see are not hot. I may add another photo here when all is complete.. Dimi. Northfield, MN. Sun Nov 24 2024

This is not where it’s going to go, which is as a ceiling medallion for a fan above my bed… but it is SO GORGEOUS, I’ve actually thought of putting a mirror in the middle and hanging it on a wall…Hmmm, maybe I’ll get another like it and do that, on my wall to match my ceiling medallion I’m actually in the process of getting another slightly different one, a bit larger with the circle around it, but trying to decide if I should use this color or a different one, for another ceiling fan in our living room room‼️❣️♥️.
