It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. The fan is very quiet, we are able to sleep with the fan on all night. We also have high ceilings and the fan still does a very good job of circulating the air even on the lowest setting.. Stephanie. This 52" 5-blade crystal ceiling fan welcomes classic, luminous style with a modern feel to your space. Made with a metal body with a chrome or black finish, it has five plywood blades that span 52" overall to cool down rooms that are larger than 18' by 20'. A reversible motor helps circulate warm air in the cooler months, while three speeds help you create just the right breeze in the evenings. It also arrives with a light kit, which requires four E12 base light bulbs(not included). We also love how a crystal drum shade diffuses light across your living room or dining room. Plus, it comes with a remote control(wall holder included) for easy operation.
