These are really nice sconces! They look high end, but are rechargeable so no hardwiring required! I did deduct a star because the shades arrived damaged. These lights are stunning! They will work just fine without the seeded glass tubes, but the tubes just really make the light so beautiful! They worked out perfectly where the sconces were previously and didn't even have to change out the backplate. Took about 10 minutes total to install. I love how they look next to my backlit mirror..
