The ideal height for a chandelier over a dining table is 30 to 34 inches. Mine measured 41 inches. I needed to lower the chandelier 6 to 7 inches high with a matching gold finish. These rods were perfect. The rods are an excellent choice for warm, lighter-colored gold. They were a 95% match if you even noticed it. It's offered at a fair price for what I got.
