I added this medallion to my ho-hum dining room and it makes a great design statement. I was planning to paint it but the matte white finish happened to match our ceiling perfectly so my husband just added a littel caulk to give it a flush appearance and it looks fantastic. We have a 1955 brick house with an exterior circular faux window that had cracked, old moldings that looked bad and would be difficult to replace, since they were circular. I glued the medallion in and caulked it, and it looks great! We have received compliments.. Anonymous. Sat Jan 10 2026
