I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper. These arrived in great shape. They were pretty easy to put together. I think it only took 15 minutes for both. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is we couldn’t get one of switches to line up so the switch faces the back of the lamp. No matter how we tried to thread it the switch wouldn’t line up.
