I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading. The lamps are beautiful and look great in my living room. They do have some dark pink near the bottom that wasn't visible in the picture nor mentioned in the description but I really like them. The lamps are heavy and well built. It's been a long time since I've bought a lamp so I wasn't expecting to have to put the lamp shade together but it was easy and didn't take any time at all to do.
