This light fixture is so perfect, I have an odd space between my fireplace and a big bookcase that’s dark and needed a little ambient lighting. I love the idea that these sconces are not hardwired. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. This pair of sconces are modern and look great in my new living room. the base is round and they are gold. I guess you would call them bulbs need to be securely installed or they won't light up. They were easy to put p with two screws each. There is a switch on the side for you to turn them off and one. They are very solid. I would suggest Charging them before you put them up and the full charge last a long time.
