This lamp arrived quickly and with no damage or missing parts. It looks great and I love the dimmer control. I also love that you can angle the shade/light to your desired spot. It's great for reading! As much as this lamp looks great and I love it, I did have 2 issues. 1 - The shade!!! It is so hard to put together! It took me a long time, and I had to keep checking the Wayfair ad's user photos to see how others did it. The instructions on how to build the shade were not very detailed. They were missing key steps. 2 - On the base, there is a nice triangular gold detail, but it moves! The lamp is really attractive, it is the look I was hoping for. The shade has a nice black metal exterior and the interior is a brushed powdery gold which does not have that cheap gold look to it. The lamp has a study base and pole. The tubes on the pole have lengthy connections that screw easily together making the pole nice and solid on the heavy base.
