Dimmer Plastic Shade Table Lamps

In conceiving Cortina, designer Pablo Pardo sought to create a light that would assert its presence but seamlessly complement a variety of surroundings. What he built is a stoic, sculptural luminaire that emits a seductive light through its transparent and diffused surfaces. Cortina’s monolithic form factor creates a noble light that mimics its architectural surroundings. Fluidly dimmable, the piece is comprised of a clear acrylic shade and a translucent fabric diffuser to shield the upward-facing light source.

I purchased this gold trim 27" height/ 12" front, width/ 8" side, width, this mid Size / HEAVY/ delicate lamp to blend in with my wall, @ Day light, the lamp disappears into the wall due to the translucent shade, when I switch on the light, the lamp is a decore & lighting. It's a 3 way light control. Spend some time on light bulb choices it makes huge difference in the way you want the lamp to be presented. The lamp is very sterdy & heavy due to white marble base. I'm not crazy about the shiny gold trim somehow it makes this lux lamp look cheep yet because the translucent shade make up most of the lamp structure you can over look the shiny gold trim. I've had this lamp approximately 5 years & just decided to review based on my use & satisfaction with this lamp.. Kooseah. Newtown Square, PA. Thu Feb 19 2026

Bel Occhio is a study in weightlessness and transparency,” notes designer Pablo Pardo on his inspiration for this luminaire

A great piece being used to ailluminate wall art. Ideally, I’d prefer the globe was offered in a bit smaller option too. The dimmer is a good feature but the switch itself is oddly designed: it lights up, is clunky, and is placed too close to the globe. I bought the “white” color option.. Dana. Virginia.
