There's a particular kind of evening worth coming home to: you climb into bed, pull the sheet up to your shoulders, and reach over to twist a small switch. A warm, amber light spills across the pages of your book — not harsh, not clinical, just soft and steady, exactly where you want it. That's the mood this sconce is built for. At first glance it reads clean and contemporary: a matte black cone shade paired with a slim brushed-gold swing arm, finished off with a round black backplate that sits quietly against the wall. But look up close, and you'll notice the inside of the shade is finished in warm gold — so when the bulb is on, the light bounces off that golden interior and comes out softer, richer, almost honeyed, rather than the flat white glow a plain metal shade gives off. The arm pivots at two points, so you aren't stuck with a fixed beam. Angle it down over your pillow for late-night reading, swing it forward beside a favourite armchair, or line a pair of them up on either side of the bed for that symmetrical, boutique-hotel feel. Because it's a plug-in design with an in-line ON/OFF switch on a nearly 5-foot cord, you don't need an electrician — just mount the backplate, plug it into a standard outlet, and you're done. It's a natural fit for renters, guest rooms, home offices, and even above the bathroom vanity: it's DAMP-rated, so it's comfortable in humid rooms where ordinary wall lamps shouldn't go. Built from all-metal iron with a welded shade and a sturdy round backplate, ETL-listed for safety, and sized to sit neatly without overwhelming small walls. Pair it with a warm-white filament bulb (sold separately) and let it do what it does best: make a quiet corner feel like yours.

A single note in a quiet symphony of light, this 1-light wall sconce pairs sculpted metal with softly rippled glass to create a warm, inviting glow. The curved black arm rises gracefully from a round **warm-brass backplate — finished in a soft, amber-toned gold with gentle orange undertones rather than a cool, polished brass holding a bell-shaped hammered-glass shade that shimmers like water under morning sun. This warm, honeyed brass is intentionally chosen to glow richer against the textured glass and black metal, casting a cozy golden-amber wash that reads softer and more inviting than a stark chrome or cool nickel would. Also available with a clear seeded-glass shade for a subtly different play of light, it offers versatility to match your style. Its compact design makes it a versatile choice—perfect beside a mirror, flanking a bed, or lighting up a cozy hallway nook. More than just a light source, it's a small statement piece that blends modern sensibility with timeless charm, offering an elevated touch to both functional and decorative spaces.

Some rooms just need that one little glow on the wall to feel complete — and this sconce was made to be that glow. Picture it: two of these flanking your bathroom mirror at dusk, the warm light bouncing off the gold-painted interior of the cone, softening your reflection as you wash your face before bed. Or one beside the bed in place of a bulky table lamp — freeing up nightstand space for books, a cup of tea, whatever matters to you. The matte black exterior keeps it grounded and modern, while the deep gold arm and interior add just enough warmth to make it feel like a design choice, not just a light. At just 8.3 inches tall and 7.3 inches from the wall, it's compact enough for tight spaces — a narrow hallway, a powder room, a reading nook. The E26 base means you can use any standard bulb you like, and because it's damp-rated, it works in bathrooms where ordinary wall lights can't go. UL listed, easy to install, and endlessly versatile. Hang one, hang two, hang a pair — it's the little wall light that quietly makes a big difference.

Easy to read instructions for both electrical cord plug in, which I chose, or electrical installation. This lamp is a great choice if you are in temporary housing like I am and choose to do an easy walk mount and plug-in assembly. But I will be bringing this with me for a new house build, where I install directly into my electrical box in the wall.. Lisa. Jackson, MI. Mon Jan 02 2023

These lights are amazing! We purchased them for my sons bedroom and they are way bigger than I expected. They come with light bulbs, which is nice. A single cylinder of clear glass, held by a sleek brass cup — simple, honest, and quietly beautiful. This wall sconce lets your bulb take center stage: tuck in an Edison filament bulb and it becomes a tiny piece of jewelry on the wall; swap in a frosted pearl bulb and it turns into soft, even bath lighting. The brushed brass finish ages gracefully, and the clear glass means no hiding — just clean, uncomplicated light where you want it.

This light is so beautiful I love how it makes my kitchen looks luxurious. It’s is very easy to install. I recommend it.. Hilda. Thu Nov 14 2024

Bring timeless elegance and functionality to your space with this Mid-Century Modern Adjustable Wall Sconce. Featuring two asymmetrical swing arms and cone-shaped metal shades finished in matte gold, this wall light offers both style and versatility. The long black iron arms contrast beautifully with the warm golden tones, creating a striking visual balance. Each shade can rotate and tilt to direct light up or down, making it perfect for reading nooks, bedrooms, or living room accent walls. Crafted from durable iron with a refined brushed finish, this piece combines artistic design with practical illumination.

When I first unboxed the lamp I loved it, it looked great! There is a reason why this is 81% off, the engineering of this lamp is shoddy, but at a minimum the assembly is bad. The long arm tilts down, the position shown in the photo above the console is not achievable. I would not recommend using this vendor, they mitake customer service for shifting the blame on the customer. Despite my Wayfair membership I know have to pay over $30 to return a faulty item at my expense. Lousy!. Anonymous. Thu Apr 23 2026
