It is actually bright white; the lampshade perhaps has a hint of cream, if you're being generous. The lamp stand is a simple metal piece with a small tray; the marble base may have a blemish. This lamp is great, the height, color, size, functionality. I was going to spend hours, days, weeks, months shopping around (I love to shop), but when I saw this lamp and needed a floor lamp, I couldn’t think of a reason not to order it. It arrived in excellent condition and on time. The only negative is the shade, not the most pleasant but can easily be replaced.. Wendy. Pueblo, CO. Wed Jun 15 2016
