I purchased this item thinking it would be a simple plug-in, “1-2-3” setup. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When I opened the box, I was met with a mess of exposed wires and unclear instructions that made me feel like I needed to be an electrician just to install it. The instructions do not clearly explain which wires go where, and for someone with no electrical experience, this feels unsafe and overwhelming. I honestly did not feel comfortable attempting the setup because I was worried that if I connected something wrong, it could cause serious damage or even a fire. No customer should feel that kind of stress over a product that’s supposed to be simple to install. On top of that, the top light arrived bent, which was disappointing right out of the box. This product needs much better instructions or, even better, should come pre-wired so customers can simply mount it and plug it in as expected. As it stands, this is not beginner-friendly, not convenient, and does not feel safe to install. I would not recommend this item unless the manufacturer improves the design and installation process.. This light is tiny and lovely (see measurements) very well made poorly packed but it made it! One low star reviewer that also submitted pictures was very confused saying she didn’t want it because it arrives with connections but that’s only IF you want to hard wire it. It does not have to be hard wired you can simply plug it in and hang it. It has another great feature besides the option of plug in or hard wire the bracket comes off of the lamp with the included Allen wrench and with the included screws and anchors so you can securely hang the bracket on the wall then attach the lamp to the bracket very easily. The directions are horrible try not to even look at them. I can see why some of the reviewers were confused.
