I love the idea that these sconces are not hardwired. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. I was a bit unsure of these sconces at first because of the exposed wire and the size but I took a chance and they exceeded my expectations. They are absolutely lovely in person! The backplates also allowed us to drill screws in many spots we like so we could tweak to make sure hitting the studs. These lights have a bit of weight to them so you’d wanna secure at least one screw on the stud. Especially because you’d have to take the bulb off and charge them often. Perfect for creating a comfortable and inviting ambiance in any room.

The concept of this sconce is nice, but the actual execution is lacking. The provided rechargeable light bulbs only charge using the included USB-C cables, which is really annoying and means you have to have at least 1 extra cable laying around that you probably don't want to use for anything else, because its such a slow charger. That's the least of my issues with these fixtures though. Another issue I have with these fixtures is that they appear to be very configurable, until you get them and realize the pieces that should be able to move aren't, and the pieces that are configurable aren't easily changed. So once you have them in a certain spot, it better be the spot you want to keep them (which, in my opinion, kind of defeats the point of having adjustable arms). My biggest issue with these sconces though is their construction. Multiple pieces are already assembled, but they're welded or glued together and aren't straight, even though they clearly should be! It was easy enough to request replacement parts through Wayfair, which I appreciate.
