It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. Plus, they are reversible, letting you direct the warmer air near the ceiling downward in the cold months. We love that the fan speed and light fixture are controllable via a handheld remote. This ceiling fan is rated for dry locations only, so is not a good choice for a full bathroom.

This review comes the day our new, gorgeous fan was installed. It is prettier than the pictures. The bronze finish and crystal are a perfect compliment to the furniture in our guest bedroom. Please note you should use LED bulbs, small base and 40 watts each. Once the decorative globe is put on the fan, that piece has to be removed if a bulb blows. It looks like plenty of light and the fan puts out a good bit of air. The room is 15’x17’. I hope these LEDs do last a long time. We will have to get the electrician out again if that happens.
