Love it as an addition to our industrial and modern farmhouse decor. If you decide to purchase this, please be aware that not only is this lamp tall, but it’s also long in regards to the depth you’d need on your table or nightstand. Measure your space before you purchase so you don’t end up returning. I had to pull my end table away from the rear wall a few inches so that the upper gear part/arm of it would fit on the table without bumping the back wall. Fortunately the table is also black and hidden a bit by our curtains so that it doesn’t look awkward being pulled a bit forward. One last note, item came packaged well without damage, but contents have to be assembled and the components are all in that atrocious foam that leaves hundreds of those staticky tiny foam beads everywhere when you try to take the pieces out to build.
