Lamp arrived undamaged. Packaging was a mess! I had to take it to the laundry room to unbox because there were little pieces of styrofoam everywhere! Lamp comes in 3 different pieces. I had to giggle when i saw the gloves included. Easy to put together and the lamp is alot lighter than I thought it would be. From the picture on wayfair, the Lamp shade looked to be a tan color. My shade is like a dark charcoal color. When turned on it does look tan. So just know if you are matching this Lamp to a brown or tan theme in your house...it will be dark...almost black color when off. And maybe they come in 2 different colors and they sent me the black color. For me that is a win win because my livingroom is black and brown. The shade is lightweight but sturdy hard plastic. I like these kind of shades. The design is very pretty and I am very happy with this Lamp. With the color difference between off and on, its like having 2 different lamps. I 100 recommend!.
