Great versatile lamp. The only thing I don’t like is where the main lamp slots into the bracket, there’s nothing that holds it in place. Also the screws at the pivot points of the lamp don’t tighten super well, so it slowly falls from position overtime.. Libby. Portland, OR. Fri Feb 06 2026

I love this lamp. It is positioned on my art desk and gives me the best light, making my paints POP on any of the four brightness levels. I love the super duper bright setting for when I sew by hand, especially. I find it to be an essential piece of any desk. I would purchase it again and again, but Im not sure that Ill need to. It seems to be of good quality and quite sturdy. Another thing that makes this desk lamp dreamy is that you can be sitting near and under its beam without the feeling of being slow-cooked. Next, I cant forget another neat feature when you are done for the day, this lamp is not. This lamp moonlights as a nightlight. You hold the power button down for three seconds, and the softest glow comes from the top of the base. You can push the stem back into the base with the bulb sitting on top like a flower. It is wonderful. I really like the dimming feature. I took away a star because the clamp the hold it to a desk isn’t very strong. Once it was tightened it came apart at the furthest edge. The stand is perfect though. . Kara. Markesan, WI. Wed Apr 29 2020

As far as the lamp goes it works and I do love the Ott lights however I needed something that I could pack easily to take to weekend crafting retreats. My problem is with Wayfair. The items description states that it comes with a cord, and there is a plug in on the back of the light however no cord. I did a chat with Wayfair where I did a screenshot of the item description and the hole in the back of the light and I was told that they would send a cord out to me. A week or so later I receive another light with no cord. I am now charged for two lights that really do not fit for what I need. Yes I could return the second one but it’s such a hassle.. Joan. US.
