The light, the oblong mirror, and the vanity were perfect for our bathroom remodel.. Ros. US. Wed Oct 15 2025

Some rooms need a hero. Others just need a whisper — and this single sconce is exactly that kind of quiet statement. A single arm curves gently from a square brass backplate, cradling a mouth-blown seed-glass shade that narrows at the waist and flares again at the bottom. It's an hourglass shape — sculptural, a little unexpected, never boring. When the bulb lights up, the tiny bubbles frozen inside the glass catch the glow, and the whole shade seems to shimmer, like light through frosted sea glass. It's the kind of detail guests notice and ask about, yet it never feels fussy. The square brass backplate is just 4.7 inches wide, compact enough to mount between two bathroom mirrors, beside a bed, flanking a fireplace, or lining a hallway. At under 10 inches tall, it projects warm light both upward and downward, so it works beautifully as a reading light over a nightstand or as ambient glow beside a vanity. Because it's UL listed and damp-location rated, it lives comfortably in a bathroom — no worry about steam. The E12 candelabra socket (max 40W) takes whatever bulb you love best; bulbs aren't included, which means you get to choose between a warm vintage candle, a soft dimmable LED, or a brighter bulb for a reading corner. Pair it with a brushed nickel faucet for a modern bath, or with warm oak and linen for a bedroom that feels like a quiet retreat. Hang one alone by a doorway, or line two symmetrically beside a bed — this little sconce earns its keep wherever it goes.

the fixture did arrive in order. It's a beautiful piece. The seeded glass is lovely. The screws that hold the glass hurricanes in place are delicate. Really updated our bathroom. The gold is the perfect color too!. Edward. FL. Thu Jan 18 2024
