Clean, crisp and modern, this drum lamp shade comes in a white faux silk fabric

Let me start off by saying that lamp shades are perhaps one of the hardest things to shop for, especially when you cannot physically try different shades on the lamp you need them for. This lamp shade was great – well made, looked really good, no surprises or problems. I reallllllly wanted to like it. It just, as it so, so often goes in this particular avenue of shopping, did not fit my lamp. But I wanted to leave this review because it was a great lamp shade. I have learned that 9 out of 10 times, start up from the size you think you need... I am almost always let down when I buy the size I *think* was what I needed.. Meagan. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 28 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lamp shade comes in a kit as in the picture. It is the 2 round wire pieces that hold it out and together and the actual shade with clips made on inside it. Just simple directions by picture, but it is actually fairly simple. It all fits together well and creates a beautiful and pretty durable lamp shade. Can't wait to add a picture of it after I find the perfect lamp for it. These shades feature the finest premium hardback parchment. Durable parchment means your new lampshade will last for decades. It won't get brittle from smoke or sunlight like less expensive black parchment shades. Heavy brass and steel frames mean your shades can withstand abuse from kids and pets. It's a difference you can feel when you lift it. The dark blocks most light from illuminating the shade, but the gold lining reflects the light up and down to light up the space.

Love the black with gold inside. Love that the light bulb doesn’t show through the shade.. Margene. Little Elm, TX. Sat Oct 03 2026
