Drum shaped lamp shades offer a range of advantages over other shapes. One of the primary benefits of a drum shade is its simplicity and versatility. The clean lines and classic shape of the drum shade make it a timeless and elegant option for any room, whether it's a traditional or modern setting. Another advantage of the drum shade is its ability to provide a uniform distribution of light. Due to its shape, the light is dispersed evenly across the room, making it an ideal choice for areas that require ample lighting, such as a workspace or a reading nook. Finally, drum lamp shades match many different types of lamp bases. Overall, the drum shaped lamp shade is a practical, stylish, and versatile choice for any lighting design.Features fossilized cocoa leaves that are hand placed on a standard UL lamp backing, laminated, and formed into a traditional wide-based lampshade shape. The shade is attached on a wrought iron frame.

Gorgeous subtle nature vibes, love the shade, size and shape!!. C Cow. Fort Collins, CO. Mon Apr 20 2026

Petite shades made of a finely woven grasscloth bring added warmth to a space. Due to the natural material’s inherent texture, there is a knotty richness to their surfaces, though the lighter hues are so delicate they read like linen. In fact, the shades for chandeliers and wall sconces in this collection are of the finest weaves made by hand, evidenced by the tiny telltale knots along the surface that prove they are the ultimate definition of artisanal. The shades come in three different weaves, the one with the most texture trimmed in thin bands of cloth and the finer ones culminating with a rolled edge. Both designs exhibit a tailored feel, as you can see from this natural version of the tapered shade.

Fun clip on shades to change the look for spring! These add warmth to an otherwise cool palette in this powder room, they are thick enough to mute the light and add a coziness to this space that had been missing. Super cute. Nancy. Weymouth, MA. Sat Feb 28 2026

Handwoven seagrass lampshade. There is a slight variation in colors due to the nature of seagrass. Seagrass will also change in color over time but will always be a beautiful warm color that fits any room. This shade has a harp fitting.

Beautiful, well-made and no blemishes. Only thing I don't like is little light comes through from the tight weave. It mainly just streams light from the top and bottom of the shade.. Julie. Mexico Beach, FL. Sun Jun 08 2025
