This medallion is beautiful - I love how it looks with my chandelier. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that you have to cut out the center yourself. For some reason I thought the center came out. It took the guy who installed it *a while* to do it himself. But as my picture shows, it is a beautiful, contemporary look - I really do love it :). It looks amazing - it kind of feels like a heavy, solid foam material, and dents a bit if you were to press to hard (or accidentally jam in a screwdriver, for ex.), but it has held up so far on the ceiling and looks fantastic.. Kate. Boston, MA. Tue Sep 12 2017

Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. We just used small finishing nails to secure it as flat as we could to the ceiling. Then caulked around the edge. We did not end up painting it because our ceiling was already white.. Nicole. We have a 1955 brick house with an exterior circular faux window that had cracked, old moldings that looked bad and would be difficult to replace, since they were circular. I glued the medallion in and caulked it, and it looks great! We have received compliments.. Anonymous. Sat Jan 10 2026

Absolutely beautiful medallion. Arrived in perfect shape, beautifully wrapped. Made of nice and dense material. Please understand that this is a fairly deep ceiling medallion, and that the "leaves" or "fans" that project from the medallion's center are not designed to lie flush against the ceiling surface. I made a special trip to the local hardware store to purchase a threaded "nipple" to accommodate the added depth of the medallion. But the effort was worthwhile because the impact that this medallion makes is truly wonderful. I painted my medallion bronze with copper highlights (it arrived primed in white) to play off the other finishes in the room. Again, it's just spectacular.. Gavin. Frankfort, KY. Wed Sep 21 2016

Really added that final touch to the new light we installed and it helped cover the old electrical box location that was not centered to the table. Make sure to add some blocks of wood behind the empty parts of the medallion so as to not crush it when tightening down the fixture. Also light sand before painting to help the paint adhere.. James.
