This was exactly what we needed for a family cabin room! It goes great with the older cabin decor, adds a great bit of airflow, and offers quite a lot of light. I love that it works well on a dimmer, too, and that the remote is easy to work. Do you note that I could not figure out if there was or was not a dimming option for the lights on the remote (do not believe there is), but because we have that switch on a dimmer, we can dim the bulbs. That is important to me because the LED bulbs would be too bright if not dimmable. The fan is wonderful and works incredibly well, with many options for various speeds and a button to push if you want the fan to be completely quiet. The fan works in both directions to push air or pull air upward. The lights and fan work independently, so you are not required to have both on to use one or the other. The wood material is nice and looks great. I love the slats in the shade that offer some visual interest. Note that the fan material is plastic rather than wood, but it looks realistic. This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. Love this crystal ceiling fanlight fixture. The brushed gold is very classy looking. It uses chandelier lights and they are six of them, so that provides plenty of light for most rooms. UPDATE 626 This is now installed and I am so happy with it! It looks elegant and not like an obvious ceiling fan, while providing air circulation the rare times we need it. Side rant I’ve grown to really dislike light fixtures with LED hardwired bulbs. This fan is beautiful. The light that comes attached is great too. I generally don’t like lights on ceiling fans. This one however, lights up the room perfectly day or night. It also is dimmable so you have several amounts of lighting you can use from dim to bright. The fan gives off enough air with no problem. It also matches all my other lighting in house with the black hardware and the wicker rattan type material. It’s perfect in our beach home in our guest bedroom in the center between two twin beds.
