We purchased two of these fans for our house. One is located over 20 ft in the air. The description stated the fan is reversible from the wall switch or remote. After the electricians installed these fans we found out this was not true. The only way to reverse the fan is at the motor and even with a four ft down rod it is 19 ft in the air. This fan is beautiful. The prettiest fan I have bought in years. It even had extra longer blades than the average ceiling fan. The reason I gave it a four star and not five is because of fan speed. I was really excited it had six speeds. Unfortunately having it on the highest speed, six, it only feels like a two on a three speed ceiling fan. The light is very pretty and the fan that retracts is a nice touch. The crystals are packaged separately as well as the pins to attach them so plan on spending some time putting the pins in each crystal and bending the wire to the right shape to hang. I dropped one star since the light has 3 settings for colour temp (warm vs cool) but there are no instructions for how to set it. Right now every time we turn the light on/off it switches to a different setting. The light is quite bright and the warm setting is good but the cool/bright setting would be more useful if you want to perform surgery.
