I love the fact that this fan is not hardwired and can be put anywhere. It was super simple to assemble with easy instructions. I hung this fan from my porch which has a pretty low roof and the air it puts off is amazing but the circumference of air you feel is only a few feet from center. A taller roof may be better to feel the circulation from further away. The app works great. When pairing with the app it says to pair within 5 seconds of turning it on. Don’t use the remote to do this. Unplug it and plug it back in and pair within 5 seconds after you plug it in. That is the only way I got it to work with the app. The remote is great too. The power button only turns it off. To turn it on from the remote, hit the fan speed desired andor the light onoff button. Hope this helps some confusion with those things. It's a perfect combination of retractable ceiling fan, crystal chandelier, and LED lights. All the lampshade is fully decorated with shiny K9 crystals, definitely stunning when lights are turned on, making your room full of modern and luxury sense, outstanding in 1 second! The light is very pretty and the fan that retracts is a nice touch. The crystals are packaged separately as well as the pins to attach them so plan on spending some time putting the pins in each crystal and bending the wire to the right shape to hang. I dropped one star since the light has 3 settings for colour temp (warm vs cool) but there are no instructions for how to set it. Right now every time we turn the light on/off it switches to a different setting. The light is quite bright and the warm setting is good but the cool/bright setting would be more useful if you want to perform surgery.
