This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. This is a beautiful ceiling fan for my living room! I decided to change out the fan from a white one to black. It is very attractive and has great fan speeds. The LED light is integrated and gives off a warm glow. If you are looking for something brighter, you might want a different light that gives off more than 3000k, but for us I'm sure it will work. This fan is so quiet, you wouldn’t know it was running- if not for the wind! It is a true 6 speed fan, not just 3 speeds in two directions, which I’ve seen advertised in other fans. The amount of wind is quite impressive, that rarely do I set it above 3 anyhow. Installation was really quite simple, and not as complicated as the many pieces would have you assume.
