I purchased an open-box unit and it looks great. The base is very heavy and provides solid support for the arc lamp. At first, I thought I had tightened the Allen screws that secure the extending pole, but I hadn’t, and it slipped. Once I fixed that, everything held firmly. I assembled it on the second floor and then moved it to a third-floor bedroom. There was quite a bit of shaking due to the arc shape, but it maintained its structure without any issues. This is exactly the reading lamp I’ve been looking for years! I found something similar at an antique store going for over 500 but this one is obviously better for my budget. It went together quickly and is exactly what I was hoping for with an adjustable arm to raise or lower the light. The remote is comprehensive and there are different settings for computer versus book versus rocking a baby! You can even change the color of the bulb and the brightness. I will definitely purchase another one of these! I had to edit this because after a couple of days the lamp fell down due to inadequate counterweight and I’m having a hard time getting it to stay at the proper angle so some hardware adjustments will need to be made (already over tightened it).. Lynn. Mobile, AL. Sat Sep 19 2026

The lamp is beautiful and compares to pieces many times its price. The screw pattern did not align as other comments have pointed out. But Wayfair made it right quickly. They replaced the defective lamp with a new one. So while you may receive a product with issues, rest assured Wayfair has your back.. Philip. Albuquerque, NM. Thu Oct 01 2026

Very good lamp adds a lot of dimension to our space. The bulb it comes with is a little too LED for my liking but we changed it out for a Philips Hue and it looks so nice. Anonymous. Sun Aug 16 2026
